Stone Security Services Ltd is a North West based security services company that provides mobile & static security guarding, car park management, key holding and concierge services.
As a business Stone already possess ISO 9001:2000 and the security industry’s ACS accreditation. CSR is a key criterion within the ACS application process, but they had not previously identified this as an area of opportunity to develop the business.
Following an initial assessment process we identified a number of key areas of risk and opportunity and produced an action plan for Stone to reinforce their competitive advantage, keeping ahead of the competition in the short, medium and longer term.
Coethica are now targeting Stone’s environmental impact, community engagement and staff development strategies to help reduce costs, improve reputation, enhance tendering opportunities and attract new clients.
We are now working together towards an Environmental Management System through accreditation to ISO 14001 and commitment to Investors in People, as well as numerous individual community based projects.
The management at Stone are keen to use this advantage to not only promote themselves as beacons of best practice but also improve the image of the UK security industry as a whole.
