The report outlines milestones reached in 2008 and program focus for 2009, centered on two broad areas:
- Utilizing technology to help communities and individuals reach their full economic and human potential
- Business policies and practices responsive to a range of societal issues from advancing and protecting freedom of expression online to Internet safety, environmental stewardship and strong corporate governance.
